Dr. Seuss is one of the children's favorite authors and since March 2 is his birthday, this week will be all about him!  We will read many of his books as well as create some fun Dr. Seuss projects that will help the kids learn more about him!

Preschoolers are naturally curious about the world around them.  This week, we will have some hands on activities and experiments that will challenge the kids to make observations and use their problem solving skills to help make new connections, and better understand various concepts on a deeper level.

Space is a topic that always manages to catch the attention of our preschoolers.  This week the kids will be learning all about outer space and the solar system.  We will be discussing many things from the planets and the moon, to the sun and the stars.

  • Thursday, March 25:  Book orders are due!  All book orders are to be made payable to Discovery Daycare.  You are more than welcome to place your Scholastic book order online if you prefer.  The class activation code is HHBGQ.  If you have any questions regarding online book orders, please ask Cindy!
